David Hoare, Chair of Ofsted has been confirmed as the Chief Judge for our Grand Final 2016 to be held at the Piccadilly Theatre on Monday 4th July.
David has a 40 year business career, stating out in the oil industry, at Esso, before 10 years at Bain & Company, a US strategy consultancy company. He has spent 10 years as a CEO, for both public and private companies, and over 15 years as Chairman to a number of companies, including V Ships Group, Target Express, Sparck Holdings B.V and Virgin Express.
In 1987, he co-founded Talisman, to acquire underperforming companies.
In 1995, he founded Duncton Group, Moneybarn’s parent, a vehicle finance business which was sold to Provident Finance in 2014.
David Hoare studied Chemical Engineering at Birmingham University and Business at Stanford Business School, California.
